Tuesday Sep 22nd: Print Showcase

Our next meeting is another Print Showcase — a relatively new addition to our programme, and one that is still evolving as we find the format that works best for us.

This will be our third showcase, and this time we are introducing a new feature: one photographer will have the opportunity to present a larger selection of their work as our featured photographer.

For our inaugural feature, we are delighted to showcase Chris.

Chris only picked up a camera just over a year ago, but has very quickly been bitten by the photography bug. Initially concentrating on wildlife photography, his interests have since expanded. He is now the club photographer for a local football team, continues to keep a keen eye on the wildlife around him, and regularly heads into London to explore the city through street photography.

Alongside Chris's main feature, other club members will also be displaying their work, with smaller selections of prints being exhibited around the hall. It promises to be a good opportunity to see the variety of subjects, styles and approaches within the club.

Everyone Welcome

This is an open house, so whether you are already a club member, a keen photographer, or simply curious about what we get up to, you are very welcome to come along.

Have a look at the photography, chat with our members and photographers, and find out a little more about the club. There will, of course, be the traditional cuppa and possibly even a biscuit or two.
